So I know I don't go around this site for posting anymore, but it came across to me that some scumbag decided to copy one of my pics. Pose and all! How low of the human being do you have to be that it makes it easier for you to copy someone else's work? You're gonna tell me that all that hard work, hours sacrifice on even the worst of days coming back from work because it is a passion gets thrown out the window just for some schmuck to copy everything. This is just as bad as AI, it leaves the bitter taste in the mouth knowing people do this without a thought nor even the remorse after the outcome. It doesn't matter if it is "referenced". The reference itself should have pushed your capabilities to make it your own, and not some blatant copy. People that do this for a living don't care about the starving artist who puts their hard work on to it. We the artists craft said artworks out of passion, interests and love and brings other relating artists close. But who am I to speak out the reality? In this site, made up of the most thoughtless, unprocessed and emotionless individuals don't care. They never cared, they have no empathy or care to the impact of the artist.

Sometimes copying is a form of flattery, but in this case it's not. It's sad to see someone copying your artwork and for them to make it look easy, without giving the effort of actual creativity. I was asked that someone wanted to use my art as a "reference", and simply said no. Because I knew how the person referenced his art from other artists. Since this one was out of spite, out of the blue, it feels like a knife in the gut. It's a sickening feeling to the artist that all that hard work, sketching, paint and lining and dialogue gets thrown out the window for the reckless enjoyment of a copier.

At times I wish I never picked up the pencil if knowing the repercussions of putting blood, sweat and tears into artwork would end up in AI Generation or some shimunead copying the exact poses. I could've done something useful in life, but no. This is what I chose, because it's a passion. I cannot waste my energy and breath on fools like this guy. You wanna copy, copy from human pose references. Don't copy someone else's work!

Wow... how the fuck did we get here? When I joined Deviant Art, it's servers was at it's peak. Almost perfect in a way, but over the years that phrase turned into a challenge. The new look on the site is still an eye sore. A dark age that we had to endure and just when things couldn't get any worse, and with the rapid developments of Artificial Intelligent Generated Art, became more of doomsday type scenario. As overreacting as it seems, it is the truth. With the purchase of Twitter by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the current state of Twitter is that compared of the political situation of the United States, and Meta (formerly known as Facebook) has become a cesspool of undesired advertisements promoting their half-assed version of VR Chat and Nazi-like police force that specializes in silencing free speech. As for Tumblr, a platform that use to allow any posts the was NSFW, is still some what uncharted waters.

FurAffinity at the moment is now a last resort in the current state of fan art or just art in general. With people constantly getting offended for unknown reasons, it seems that doing what you love is now more of a crime.

So the real question is this. "Am I staying on Deviant Art" The answer is yes and no. This account will still be here, but I will be deleting or storing my uploads until some puts their foot down and asks for a change. So no I will no longer be uploading art on Deviant Art as of today November 12, 2022. You can blame the majority of the staff of Deviant Art for the beginning of a downfall of a giant platform we once called home. I'll still be here to interact, just no more art will be uploaded on this site anymore. This is protest with their AI generate that uses art references from every artist on this site.
